Note: you must be a currently enrolled Ohio State student graduating after the spring 2026 semester to apply
Every candidate must attend an information session for their application to be considered (see options below). If you cannot attend an information session, please contact Casey Rinella at rinella.12@osu.edu.
Ready to learn more? Attend a mandatory info session:
The following info sessions will be held in the Undergraduate Welcome Center in the Ohio Union (3rd floor).
- August 26, 5 to 6 p.m.
- September 3, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
- September 8, 6 to 7 p.m.
- September 15, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The following virtual session will be held through this Zoom link.
- September 20, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Application
The 2027 cohort application is open!
To apply for the Recruitment Host program, you must complete both components of the application by September 20, 2026:
- Primary application (Workday): Submit your basic profile information and upload your current resume through the Workday portal. Choose the correct application below based on your federal work-study status.

Beyond having a guaranteed seat at each Ohio State football game, Hosts get to:
- Give back to the university and your community by recruiting the next generation of Buckeyes
- Interact with students from different backgrounds and learn to work with an exceptional group of coworkers

- Become experts about what's happening on campus and with Ohio State football

- Engage with University and Football staff to learn core aspects of Football Recruiting and Undergraduate Admissions
