  • Represent Undergraduate Admissions during other football recruitment events as needed.

Summer (optional)

Expectations

Recruitment Hosts are expected to come to recruitment events, football games, practices and camps prepared to work hard and focus on prospective students and their guests. While hosts are still able to watch the game and enjoy the game day experience, they must focus on providing a professional and excellent experience for the student athletes and their families at these events.

When talking to families, hosts are encouraged to use their creativity and personal experience to make the conversation exciting. As the first face of Ohio State, hosts are expected to be exceptional representatives of our university.

Hosts must have a basic understanding (or willingness to learn) about college football, different football playing positions and the Ohio State football team. Hosts are expected to follow all NCAA rules and regulations.

Hosts are expected to not interact with prospective students or their guests outside of an official Undergraduate Admissions sanctioned capacity. Any actions taken that are inappropriate or unsanctioned by Undergraduate Admissions may be grounds for dismissal from the team and could be subject to the university’s Code of Student Conduct.
